Richard Charles LaDue, age 42, and his son Brandon Keith LaDue, age 11, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Rich was born on June 29, 1962 in Massena, NY the son of Fred and Kay Thompson LaDue. He was employed at the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, DC. Brandon was born in Silver Springs, MD on April 30, 1993 and was currently in the sixth grade.
Rich was a loving, attentive father and husband. He was adored by everyone because of his sensitivity, intelligence and humor. Rich was always there for his family and friends. It is difficult to convey in words the essence of a man who would do anything in the world for his family. His caring, thoughtfulness, and love that he shared unconditionally, will be sorely missed.
Brandon followed in his father's footsteps. He loved sports, especially ice hockey, baseball, golf and karate. Brandon enjoyed any activity that got him outdoors and into the fresh air.
Just like his Dad he was an Oriole fan and enjoyed teasing his New York relatives whenever they beat the Yankees. Brandon's gentle, well-mannered personality coupled with his winning smile made a persons heart warmer when in his presence.
Rich is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (Northrup) LaDue and his daughter, McKenna of Elkridge, MD, his mother, Kathleen LaDue of Syracuse, one brother, Bruce F. (Sammie) LaDue of Oklahoma, one sister, Crystal (Fred) Wilmer of Syracuse, two nephews, Bruce (Lisa) LaDue and family and Eddie LaDue and two nieces, Tammie Bailey and Stacy LaDue.
In addition to the loved ones listed above, Brandon is also survived by maternal grandparents, Keith and Carol Northrup of Trumansburg, maternal great-grandmother, Esther Northrup of Trumansburg, uncle Daniel (Mary Ellen) Northrup of Ithaca, Aunt Rebecca (Richard) Stilwell of Ithaca, cousins, Amber and Kaleigh Stilwell and many additional aunts, uncles and cousins.
