Robert F. Carlisle Jr.

Robert F. Carlisle Jr., 59, of Newfield, New York passed away peacefully in the morning hours of Saturday, October 23rd at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY.

He is the son of Robert Carlisle Sr. and the late Virginia Olney of Ithaca, New York. Robert is survived by his father; sisters Debbie, Dawn, Robin, Treska, and brother Mark; two daughters Rianna and Rochelle; grandchildren Andrew and Rosalyn; special friend Maggie Emery; many nieces and nephews; and his buddy Leon, the cat.

Bob or “Bobby” was a “kid at heart”. He attended Tompkins Community College where he was a part of the early Disney College program and earned an Associate's degree. Later, he settled down in Waverly, where he raised his family, and volunteered in the local community as a soccer coach. In the later part of his life, Bob moved to Newfield, NY where he spent time with his friends and family, volunteered at a school, and participated in church choir.

A small family gathering will take place, and the family asks that you be with us in prayer as Bob is laid to rest. Any donations in honor of his memory can be made to the Ithaca SPCA.
