Roger W.  Conroy

Roger William Conroy, of 5658 Stilwell Road, Trumansburg, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the age of 71.

Born in Ithaca on March 19, 1941, Roger was the son of the late William and Lena (Miller) Conroy. He worked at Honeywell for several years before becoming a self employed electrician, helping many people across the country with various projects; Roger was always willing to lend a hand. He enjoyed farming, tinkering on various items acquired over the years, reading, and all types of wildlife. Roger truly loved talking with people and was an informative and entertaining man to spend time with.

Roger is survived by his four siblings, Dale (Clara) Conroy, Sharon VanNiel, Patsy (Gary) Cooper, and Stanley (Jane) Conroy; two children, Phillip and Samantha; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Searsburg Community Church, 5770 Searsburg Road, Trumansburg with the Rev. Jeanne Bleiler officiating.
