Russell A. Timblin

It is with great sadness that the family of Russell A. (Pete) Timblin announces his passing on February 6, 2018 at the age of 84 years.

He was born June 5, 1933 in Luthersburg, PA, child number 8 of 10 to his parents Russell V. and Ruth Nupp Timblin. Pete will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, JoLu; his children Beth Turnbaugh, Gloria (Ron) Knight, Tom Timblin, Roxanne (Terry) West and Joleen (Kent) Krogman; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and three sisters. He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers; three sisters; step-son Joseph Stone Jr.; daughter Becky Chenoweth; and granddaughter Angela Patrick.

Pete was an enthusiastic hunter and fisherman; dreaming of it when not participating in it. He also enjoyed woodworking. He was a founding partner of Alpine Machine Inc. and was fortunate to enjoy many years of retirement after many years of hard work.

The family will be present to receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00pm on February 16, 2018 at Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg. A Remembrance Service will immediately follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Spring at Caroline Grove Cemetery.
