Ruth Ann Mcmillen

Ruth Ann McMillen of Trumansburg passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the age of 87.

Ruth was born in Ithaca on June 18, 1935 a daughter of the late Sylvester and Catherine (Inman) O’Dell. She was a member of the VFW Post 961 in Ithaca and the Ithaca Moose Lodge 666.

Ruth is survived by her three children, Eric (Mickey) McMillen, Candis (Duane) Powers, and Chris (Nancy) McMillen; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Iva Shiota; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd McMillen in 2007; three children, Vanessa Mayo, Richard and Gary McMillen; seven brothers; and two sisters.

A graveside service will be held privately at the family’s convenience.
