Ruth W. Casebeer

Ruth W. Casebeer of 340 Bella Vista Dr., formerly of Interlaken, went into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the age of 92.

Born in Townsendville, New York on November 20, 1919, Ruth was the daughter of William W. and Jennie Merrill Wilcox. A lifelong resident of the Interlaken/Ithaca area, Ruth enjoyed operating her beauty salon in Interlaken for many years. She was currently a member of the Harvest Field Baptist Church in Fayette and The Gideons International.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillian Williams and Marjorie Horton. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Oran T. Casebeer of Ithaca; one daughter, Amy L. Saavedra of Lodi and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, no public services will be scheduled.
