Sean M. J.  Rohan

Sean Michael James Rohan of Trumansburg passed away at SUNY Upstate Medical Center surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the age of 26.

Sean was born in Canton, Ohio on October 25, 1989. While attending Trumansburg Schools, Sean played several sports in his youth including football, soccer, and baseball. From a young age, he loved spending time in the water swimming and floating and was always the first in the water and last out. Sean was an avid gamer and enjoyed spending time watching and streaming various television shows. In recent years, Sean grew fond of cooking, always experimenting with new cooking techniques and aspired to be a grill master. He was a great friend and was willing to put close friends and family before himself.

Sean is survived by his parents, James Rohan Jr. and Jamie Wagner; daughter, Jade Rohan; siblings, Sarah Logdson, Aaron Lawrence, and Austin and Elizabeth Davenport-Rohan; paternal grandparents, James Rohan and Rita (Robert) Brown; maternal grandparents, Bob and Carol Cross; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will be present to receive friends from Noon to 2:00pm on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Ness-Sibley Funeral Home, 23 South Street, Trumansburg, NY 14886. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 2:00pm.
