Vivian R Forrest

Vivian Racine Forrest passed away in her sleep at Cayuga Ridge Nursing Facility on Friday July 26th 2013.

Vivian was born on October 6, 1932 in Westbrookville NY.

Like her mother, she was a strong Christian woman who was very dedicated to her family. Vivian carried on these Godly family values and was known for being a kind and gracious individual committed to raising her children Evan, (his wife Gloria) of Trumansburg , Brian ,(his wife Holly and daughter Breanna) of Trumansburg.

After the recent passing, April 2013, of her husband Galen Kent of 53 years and with the ever deepening effects of her Alzheimer's disease, Vivian was routinely saying “I just want to go to heaven”. Now our dear Vivian you are at a place where there is no more pain and suffering. You are now at peace .You have been rewarded good and faithful servant by going to Heaven. But we who are still here, including your Sister Joyce (husband Ron), nephew Andrew (wife Cecelia, son Issac) nieces Linda (son Christopher, daughter Nicole), Lois (sons Jon & Danny), Barbara (husband Michael) and Julie (daughter Holly) will greatly miss you, for now, because we look forward to seeing you in again in Heaven.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Jones Cemetery with Rev. Jeanne Blieler officiating.
