Yvonne Williams

Yvonne “Bonnie” Williams of Trumansburg was called to heaven to be an angel on November 23, 2015 at the age of 78.

Yvonne was born in the Bronx, New York on September 28, 1937 to her mother Virginia M.F. Tunnicliffe, who preceded her in death on April 7, 1978. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joy P. Van Wey in 1999.

Bonnie enjoyed golfing, bowling, skiing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and most of all cooking, a passion she passed down to her daughters.

A loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Yvonne “Bonnie” tenderly leaves behind her husband of 53 years, John C. Williams of Trumansburg; daughter JoAnn (Ken) Carson of Trumansburg; daughter, Judy (Jim) Russell of Trumansburg; grandchildren, Eric Shepler, John Swanhart, James Russell Jr., Scott Williams, Jennifer Hoffman, and Rachel Carson; specially loved great grandchildren; and forever sisters, Rosemary (Walter) Moskowitz of Pine Bush and Joyce Knapp of Interlaken.

Upon Yvonne’s request, burial will be private for family.
